This guide explains how to generate invite codes for your server, allowing you to control who can join and what permissions they receive.
Overview
Server invite codes allow administrators and managers to securely add new users to their servers. When you create an invite code, you can customize usage limits, expiration dates, default user roles, and other settings to match your server's requirements.
Accessing Invite Code Management
To create a new invite code:
Click the user icon in the top-right corner to open the user menu
Select Admin Panel from the dropdown
Click User Management in the admin panel
Select Invite Code Management
Click Generate New Code
Configuring Your Invite Code
When generating a new code, you have several options to customize how it works:
Maximum Uses
By default, invite codes have unlimited uses, meaning they can be shared with as many users as needed
To limit the number of people who can use the code, enter a specific number in the Maximum Uses field
Once the maximum is reached, the code will no longer work
Default User Role
All users who join via an invite code are assigned the Member role by default
You can change this to Admin or Manager if you want new users to have elevated permissions
Choose the appropriate role based on the responsibilities you want these users to have
Expiration Settings
By default, invite codes are set to never expire, making them valid indefinitely
To set an expiration, click Set expiration date
Enter the number of days the code should remain active in the Expires In (Days) field
The code will automatically become invalid after the specified time period
Auto-Delete Users on Expiration
When an invite code expires, users who joined with that code will remain on your server by default
To automatically remove these users when the code expires, enable Auto-delete users on expiration
This is useful for temporary access scenarios or trial periods
Generating and Sharing the Code
Once you've configured your settings:
Click Generate Code
The new invite code will appear in your invite code dashboard
To share the code, either:
Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard
Manually select the invite code text and copy it
You can now share this code with users you want to invite to your server.
