EOTAK Dashboard - User Panel Overview

This guide provides an overview of the User Panel within the EOTAK Dashboard and explains how to use the available features.


Overview

The User Panel is the main landing page after logging into the EOTAK Dashboard. From here, you can:

  • View current weather and forecasts

  • Manage and switch between servers you belong to

  • Join new servers using an invite code

  • Access account settings and administrative tools (if applicable)


Weather Section

The Weather section displays current conditions and a 5-day forecast for a selected location.

Available Features:

  • Current Conditions & Forecast – Displays temperature, conditions, wind, humidity, and upcoming weather.

  • Location Display – Shows the current city and state being viewed.

  • Change Location – Click the location to enter a new ZIP code.

  • Refresh Button – Updates the weather data.

  • Use My Current Location – Automatically sets the weather based on your device’s location.


Your Servers Section

The Your Servers section displays all servers you currently belong to and allows you to join additional servers.

Join a Server

  • Click Join a Server

  • Enter the invite code provided by a server administrator

  • Once joined, the server will appear in your server list

Server List & Actions

Each server listed includes several actions you can perform:

Select a Server

  • Click a server from the list to make it your active server

  • Your selection determines which server is used for:

    • Server Files

    • Administrative actions

    • Other server-specific features

Download Server Package

  • Click the Download button on a server

  • This downloads the ATAK / iTAK server package

  • The package includes TAK server certificates required to connect using:

    • ATAK

    • iTAK

Use this package to import the server configuration directly into your TAK application.

Leave a Server

  • Click the Remove button to leave a server

  • This allows you to remove yourself without requiring an administrator

  • Once removed, the server will no longer appear in your server list


Managing a Server (Admins & Managers)

If you are an Admin or Manager on a server:

  1. Select the server from the Your Servers list

  2. Click the user icon in the top-right corner

  3. Choose Admin Panel from the dropdown menu

This will take you to the administrative tools for that server.


Quick Actions

The Quick Actions section provides fast access to commonly used features such as:

  • Server Files

  • Settings


Settings

Clicking Settings allows you to:

  • Change your password

  • Update user information (name, email, etc.)
